In this exercise, students think about their lives, their identities and experiences that have been particularly meaningful in bringing them to who they are now, and in developing their interest in leadership. The exercise emphasizes “journey” and experiences over time, helping students see the impact of experience on identity formation and on current perceptions.
Interfaith Youth Core focuses its work on building mutual respect and pluralism among young people from different religious traditions by empowering them to work together to serve others. With this aim, it offers to young people and the institutions that support them leadership training, project resources, education programs and a connection to a broader movement.
