The internet offers a wealth of resources for teachers of primary RE, helping to present religion as a dynamic and relevant part of contemporary life. Pupils are able to access text, images, video and other material relating to a wide range of religions and customs.
This leaflet serves as an introduction to some of the websites which teachers have found useful. It includes examples of ways in which specific resources have been used in the classroom – for example allowing pupils to email members of faith communities or to read stories taken from religious texts.
