The aim of Somebody Else's Shoes is “to develop students’ ability to be able to access, express and record their own beliefs; to help students to understand their own beliefs within the context of the beliefs of others; to give the students the opportunity to work on an intensive programme employing critical thinking strategies in order to enter into philosophical debate; and to use drama and performing arts strategies to vary the teaching approach” (page 1).
