The main aim of the Religion in Education (REDCo) project was to establish and compare the potentials and limitations of religion in the educational fields of selected European countries and regions. The project identified approaches and policies that could contribute to making religion in education a factor promoting dialogue in the context of European development. Professor Robert Jackson’s interpretive approach was used as the theoretical framework for the pedagogical elements of the project. A series of books arising from this project can be found at: http://www.waxmann.com/?id=21&cHash=1&reihe=1862-9547
