Series of lesson plans will help pupils understand the changing face of conflict. Lessons look at issues including: conflicts currently taking place, the connections between conflict and poverty, how the arms trade works and when is conflict a war. There are case studies of Sierra Leone, Cambodia, Manchester and Liberia. The activities build strength in enquiry and discussion skills, as well as high level reasoning and creative thinking.
