CFP Deadline: Apr. 30, Intl. Symposium on Religious Literature and Heritage, Indonesia

This International Symposium on Religious Literature and Heritage is a bi-annual symposium held by Center for Research and Development of Religious Literature and Heritage, Indonesia. The theme of this year’s symposium is: “Empowering Civilization through Religious Heritage”.

Subthemes of interest to participants in the symposium include:
•    Religious Manuscripts
•    Religious Contemporary Literature
•    Religious Social History
•    Religious Art and Culture
•    Religious Archeology and Inscription
The organizers invite both local and international researchers, academicians, social activists, and scholars to participate in this symposium.

Abstract Submission
Participants are invited to send an abstract around 250 words no late than 30 April 2015. Topics of interest for abstract submission are, but not limited, as mentioned in the subthemes. The abstract must be submitted together with the contributor’s short biography (no more than 200 words). The abstract will be selected and will be announced 30 May 2015.  A full paper must be submitted by 30 July 2015 in English and Indonesian, 15-20 pages in length. The languages used in presentation are English and Indonesian.

Abstract should be submitted to islageATkemenag.go.id. Abstract should be in MS Word format with the following information in this order:
1) Author name, 2) Affiliation, 3) email address, 4) title of abstract, 5), body of abstract, 6) author’s biography.
Email subject should be titled: ISLAGE. Use plain text (Times New Roman, 12 point, double spaced).

Registration
The registration details and online form are available on symposium website. There is no registration fee for this symposium. The participants who wish to attend the symposium should write a paper with its abstract. Those who attend this symposium will be awarded certificate of participation accredited by Center for Research and Development of Religious Literature and Heritage, the Agency for Research, Development, and Training, Ministry of Religious Affairs, the Republic of Indonesia.

Scholarship will be provided only for local transportation, accommodation, and per diem for those who are selected to present their paper in this symposium.
