This publication marks the start of a 3 year British Council project called Intercultural Dialogue in Africa. Responding to one of the major cultural relations challenges of the age, the project seeks to build understanding and trust between Muslims and non-Muslims using a series of research and collaborative activities between people in the UK and Africa.This is a starting point for constructive dialogue, seeking to raise awareness and cultivate mutual respect between Muslims and non-Muslims.
