Paying the price for religious illiteracy

Charles C. Haynes, senior scholar at the  Freedom Forum First Amendment Center  and director of the  Religious Freedom Education Project  at the  Newseum  in Washington, has written this input to the Washington Post about the importance of religious education. The text discusses the current situation of the religious education in America, criticizing it for lacking the world’s religions perspective.
