Israeli-Palestinian School Book Project Research Materials

An independent study, billed as the first empirical and quantitative analysis of how Israelis and Palestinians depict each other in textbooks says both are locked into narratives that portray the other side as the enemy and erase it from maps, yet do not dehumanize each other. The study analyzed 74 Israeli and 94 Palestinian books, covering grades 1-12 and teaching social sciences, geography, literature, religion, Arabic and Hebrew, the AP reported.

The study report is available in English, Hebrew and Arabic. To access the reports, read the press release and other related documents, please click here>>
