Dec. 4-6, Italy Conference, “Communities in Contrast: Finding the Common Ground”

The Worldwide Forum on Education and Culture will hold its 2014 CONGRESS on the theme: “Communities in Contrast: Finding the Common Ground,” to be held in Rome, Italy, 4-6 December 2014.

Too often people focus on difference. It is, however, in our commonality where we find resolution and understanding. The direction of the conference this year will give special attention and emphasis to building community through similarity.

Each year the congress attracts about 100 persons from more than three dozen countries. The major focus of the upcoming meeting will be on new practices that create and develop a multicultural approach to learning and living. There will be a welcome and keynote address followed by two full days of sessions and panels on 4-5 December.  A special half-day session will be conducted on Saturday morning, 6 December, to accommodate those who cannot attend during the week.

Approximately 55 individual presentations will be scheduled for the 13th Annual Worldwide Forum on Education and Culture. Subjects for 2014 will include all disciplines on multiple levels and platforms, such as:

– Global Entrepreneurship and Leadership
– The Sciences in the 21st Century
– Liberal Arts and Technology
– Intercultural Texts and Contexts
– New Frameworks for Pedagogy
