This two-day event (Apr 5-6 2013) “Can Postmodern Theology Live in the Churches?” Drury University, Missouri, USAbrings together pastors, theologians, philosophers, church practitioners, and researchers in religion to ask: Can postmodern theology live in the churches? As such, the organizers are seeking presentations that explore the relationship between radical theologies, continental philosophy, and the church.
About the 2013 Conference:
The conference organizers welcome presentations (format open) that examine the intersection of postmodern philosophy (broadly understood), radical theology and actually existing Christianity to answer the question, “Can postmodern theology live in the churches?” They are especially interested in presenters who can bridge the gap between the academy and the church, and whose presentations are accessible to specialists and non-specialists alike. Preference will be given to presentations that connect not only with the academic community, but with church audiences as well.
