CFA Deadline: Oct. 21, Seminar on “Holocaust Literature: Teaching Fiction and Poetry,” USA

The Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies at the US Holocaust Museum announces the 2014 Hess Faculty Seminar to be held January 3-8, 2014. The seminar is designed for professors teaching or preparing to teach English, Jewish studies, modern languages, literature, or other courses with a Holocaust-related literature component. Sessions will focus on imaginative responses to the Holocaust created by a variety of writers, including those writing during the Holocaust, survivors, second generation authors, and those without an explicit family connection to the event.
