The January 13 Hong Kong Conference on “Religion & Politics: Power and Empowerment,” is organized by the Centre for Comparative and Public Law, the Faith and Global Engagement initiative, and Bridging Gaps.
This interfaith conference will explore the relationship between spiritual ethos and power in a number of world religions – Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. In particular, the conference will discuss how religious engagement with political, legal and economic issues can have beneficial and detrimental consequences in contemporary society.
