The first Institute for South Asian Religious History Symposium will be held April 3-4, 2015 in Westminster College, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.
The ISARH Symposium 2015 welcomes presentation proposals focusing on the role of faith systems in the history of the subcontinent. The symposium seeks to understand Hinduism and its variants, Buddhism, South Asian Islam, Jainism, Sikhism, and other South Asian religious traditions as historical agents (with special emphasis on religion-and-politics) in South Asia, the Indian Ocean rim, and the wider world.
