The Third Annual Edinburgh History of Christianity Postgraduate Conference will take place on Wednesday, 7 May 2014, at New College, University of Edinburgh.
This conference is an opportunity for postgraduate students to meet and discuss their work in an encouraging environment, and proposals of twenty-minute papers on any topic in the history of Christianity are welcome.
Professor Jane Dawson, the John Laing Professor of Reformation History, will give a plenary address in recognition of the John Knox Quincentennial.
By 4 April, students interested in presenting a paper should send the below information to Amber Thomas (new.college.confATgmail.com):
(1) name
(2) university affiliation
(3) degree program and year of study
(4) paper title (2-3 sentence descriptions welcome but not required)
(5) need for Power Point
(6) any particular access requirements
Those wishing to attend the conference but not present a paper should confirm by 30 April.
Conference registration and coffee will begin at 9:30 in New College. The first session will begin at 10:30, and the conference will conclude at 17:00.
