The 11th International Holocaust Studies Conference, to be held October 15-18, 2013 at Middle Tennessee State University, will focus on “Global Perspectives on the Holocaust.”
Because 2013 marks the 80th anniversary of Hitler’s seizure of power, the organizers encourage papers on the implications and ramifications of that event. The organizers also seek papers and panels on all aspects of Holocaust Studies. The organizers’goal is to include topics concerning all six inhabited continents, especially those addressing underrepresented subjects, from a broad range of disciplinary perspectives and methodological approaches. In addition, sessions on Genocide Studies and K-12 Holocaust Education are among the topics of the conferences.
DEADLINE for submissions is MAY 1, 2013
Decisions will be made by June 15, 2013
• For individual papers (15-20 minutes), submit a one-page proposal with working bibliography, a brief vita, and full contact information in a single .doc or .rtf attachment.
• For panel proposals (2-3 presenters and a moderator), submit a brief panel description with title, then follow the instructions for individual proposals for all presenters.
All inquiries and submissions should be sent to the email address: <holoconf2013@mtsu.edu>
