Saint Joseph’s University and The Peace Islands Institute will sponsor and host a conference on A JUST PEACE: Perspective/s from the World’s Religions on March 22, 2013 at Saint Joseph’s University, Philadelphia. The conference theme is: Amidst the talk of peace and world peace, one hears all too rarely of Peace with Justice, of a Just Peace that can be the foundation of an enduring peace. The great religions have much to say about peace and justice, and we wish to encourage a series of presentations and discussions to explore and foster knowledge of what the World’s Religions can and do bring to the theme.
