Teachers and members of Boards of management are invited to attend an Ethos Conference on Saturday 9th April at the Clarion IFSC, from 10 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. Those attending the conference will hear a presentation from Dr. Philomena Donnelly of St. Patrick’s College, Drumcondra, who has developed the Ethics and Education course that is being offered to students in St. Pats for the first time this year as an alternative to Religious Education. There will also be presentations from Fionnuala Ward, Education Officer, on the Learn Together Programme and Molly O’ Duffy, Ethos Development Officer, on the ethos self-evaluation tool which will be used by up to 12 schools this year to assess their implementation of the Educate Together ethos. Molly will also give a presentation on Equality and Inclusion in Schools.
